Hello-- I am using phpOpenTracker to track stats across 9 websites. These websites are of a low to medium traffic load. After 1 year of tracking, my database is at about 56 MB. I am using MySQL_Merge mode. To generate the reports, I am using the default file that ships with the phpOpenTracker package. What I'm running into is extremely long waits while the report index page is generated. (I just generated it now and it took 10 minutes to load on a 2.5Mbps connection). I understand that the script has to parse through 12 months of data, but is there any way to speed this rendering up? For example, if I removed the "Total" column from the report index, would that speed up the generation of this page? I am interested in retaining the stats data for later use, so simply deleting entries earlier than a specified date via MySQL is not an option to speed up the reporting. All comments appreciated! cheers SAM :) -- Sam Stevens, solutions_PHP http://www.solutionsphp.com/ Open source?
