Does `picfolio -V` say that you have EXIF support? If so, there are a
few more things to try out.

Can you confirm that your images really do have EXIF tags? There are a
few tools that could do this, the latest development version of gqview,
for example.

Keep in mind, that some editors will drop EXIF tags. For example, if you
rotate an image in Gimp, and then save the file, you will loose your
EXIF tags.

You can also run picfolio with the --save-xml flag, and then examine the
generated XML files. You should see the EXIF tags in those XML files.

If you still can't get this to work, feel free to email me a picture
that you think has EXIF tags, and I can try to extract those tags and
tell you what I see.
