As long as `pkg-config libexif --modversion` returns something valid,
configure.pl will activate the necessary code in Picfolio.

I suspect that something is not right with pkg-config. Or maybe you have
not rerun Picfolio's configure.pl since you got pkg-config working with
libexif?

If you can't get it to work, maybe someone on this list can get you a
static binary for Picfolio. Sorry I can't help, I use FreeBSD.
