It has never happened to me but I'm always afraid it is going to
happen. I backed up 2 days ago :-)

I think the only one who can answer this one is Joe. I never
completely understood why some stuff goes into a database and other
stuff into the .alb (he explained it to me) There is nothing wron with
 the .alb idea, but the complex id's make them sometimes a bit useless
editting outside the webinterface. As is your case.

BTW1 I never mess with them. I always use the webinterface.

BTW2 if you examined the .alb you can see that your problem with the
enabled button is not part of the .alb
