I just looked and you are right, I am running java 1.5. So what you are
telling me is that java is not nearly as good as it purports to be, not
backward compatible,. SAD!

I will go back to 1.4 and never again try to be on the edge with java.
Thanks for the heads up.

I will post again after going back with the result.
