I came across a post of yours,=20

rushmore-digital.com%3E dated 2003, when I was searching for how to
get Tapestry to render an image based on a byte stream. I'm fairly
new to Java and Web frameworks but I have been very successful using
Tapestry thus far. We want to use a service that sends a JCaptcha
image on our registration page without having to store that image
somewhere on the server.=20=20

"The more general approach is the one that WebObjects takes. The
Image component simply renders images, regardless of the *source* of
that Image. I have mimicked this approach in the Pixory image
component. At the end of the day, all you need to render an image is a
Stream to provide the bytes (and optionally the mime/type and maybe
width/height). This decouples the Image rendering from the Image
provider, so you can easily plug in whatever charting library you
like. I'll mail a copy of the Pixory Image stuff to anyone who wants
a copy. Also...",=20
was exactly the kind of answer I was looking for.=20=20
If it is at all possible I would love to get a copy of the source code
where this (refer to bold and underlined text) is done. I work with a
great group of senior programmers (one is an ex-Apple web objects guy)
so you don't have to dummy down the code, though comments are much
appreciated.
