That's a bug-- it's fixed for the next release.

Just the way that particular widget works. There's not
much I can do, since I didn't write that widget and
it's a remarkably tricky little piece of javascript
(I'm amazed it works at all!;)). There has been some
mention from the Tapestry developers that a new Date
entry widget replaces the current one in the next
version of Tapestry. I'll take a look at that and see
if it improves the situation.

I assume you mean 'caption' not 'name'.

Let me make sure I know what you are proposing. You
want the 'page numbers' to appear on the Album Index
page. You also want the option to have the filename be
used as the default 'caption' if no caption is
explicitly provided by the composer?

So you want the ability to mark certain photos as
completely 'hidden', meaning that they will not show
up  in the Album viewer and they will not show up in
the lightbox?
