Just the way that particular widget works. There's not much I can do, since I didn't write that widget and it's a remarkably tricky little piece of javascript (I'm amazed it works at all!;)). There has been some mention from the Tapestry developers that a new Date entry widget replaces the current one in the next version of Tapestry. You want the 'page numbers' to appear on the Album Index page.
