Dear Joe

I have hit a problem. My main computer has two users. Pixory was initially
setup under my logon. I discovered that the data is held under the user's
settings so I copied the .Pixory directory to my partner's Documents and
Settings and put a shortcut to pixory.jar in her Startup folder (which
previously worked fine under my logon).

Firstly, many of the folder settings that I had made got lost on the
copying.

Secondly, I now have big problems in accessessing Pixory remotely.

After a clean reboot, with javaw.exe showing as active in the Task Manager
Processes (though pixory.jar does not appear to load fully as web page does
not come up for loggin onto pixory), remotely accessing gives the following
message:

HTTP ERROR: 503 javax.servlet.ServletException:
org.pixory.pxmodel.PXObjectStoreException: net.sf.hibernate.JDBCException:
Cannot open connection: The database is already in use by another process
RequestURI=/pixory/pxapplication;JSESSIONID=1draht9lblfo5

Logging off and logging on under my own name on the server computer,
everything works again as expected.

There seem to be 2 issues here. The first is, is it intended that a
different pixory album file should be capable of displaying under different
personal logins? If so, it does not appear to be working.

The second is - what if one wants the same albums (with all their settings)
to be displayed under all logins on that computer? The simplest thing would
be to have the data in the All Users folders.

Personally, I want the same pixory folders to be available whomever is
logged on locally to the computer, but at the moment it appears I can't have
that.

regards

Chris
