Moving the image directory?

Hi Joe,

I am currently using 2.12, but with the new "private" option I plan
to upgrade to 3.1. Today pixory points to a separate directory tree
with pictures (a copy of the real tree), where I have deleted the
pictures that I would like to keep private.

Now I want to get rid of this extra directory copy, and point pixory
directly to my main picture tree. However, I would like all my album
attribute settings, cover texts, captions, narratives etc. to be
directly available without having to reenter everything again.

My main idea is to shutdown pixory, then copy the .album directories
to my main directory tree. After restarting pixory I point it to the
new tree. If this works ok I then upgrade to 3.1.

Is this a working procedure, or will I run into any problems?

/Gunnar
