Most of our testing has been on Red Hat and Suse. I don't know if
anyone has tested on Debian recently. However, it should "just work"
(tm) ;)

Let me make sure that I understand your scenario. On Debian, you
launch and configure Pixory. Then you mark some albums "public", in
the Album Access panel. Then, when you go to the front door (Public
Catalog page), you see "Sorry, there are no public albums".

Could you check the log file after accessing the Public Catalog page?
There should be someting interesting in there.
