Correct.

It's very possible

The problem is that not all of the information that Pixory needs to
keep track of albums is under the album directory-- some information
is also indexed in a database which is stored under $HOME/.pixory (on
the host running the java application). So if, for instance, you first
visit the Pixory running under XP and mark and album as public, and
then visit Pixory running under Debian, the Public Catalog page on
Debian will not show that album as public. This is because the public
designator was not recorded in the database on Debian. If, on Debian,
you go to Configuration->Advanced and run "rebuild index", then the
Public Catalog should reflect the state of the album directory as seen
by the Debian box and public albums should show up.

If you confine all of your activities to the Pixory interface running
from the Debian box, there shouldn't be any confusion. If you still
have a problem, then we will have to probe further.
