As to your startup issues, it would be helpful if you provided more
details.  Such as what OS you are running (XP, ME, 98, etc…), and
exactly how you are starting it.  Sounds like you are starting it by add
a shortcut to the startup folder?  I run XP and when I put a shortcut in
the start menu it worked fine.  However, it did open the Pixory Web Page
each time I started my computer then, which I found annoying.  To fix
this you can make the target of your shortcut equal to:
 
C:\WINDOWS\system32\javaw.exe -Djava.awt.headless=true -jar pixory.jar
 
If you need more explicit details let me know.
 
I am not sure what would cause the ‘hang’ you are experiencing… possibly
having the wrong IP settings?  Hopefully Joe can provide some insight.
 
If you are technically inclined enough you may be able to rename/delete
the Pixory database, thereby resetting the configuration to the default
settings.  Of course that would also erase the setting to any albums you
have created.  So that would be at your own risk.
 
As to your href tag question… I believe you spelled that out better in
your ‘Sharing’ post… so I will respond to that.

I think my problem is not starting it correctly. If I Double Click on
the
Pixory.Jar file , all is well.

What       ant is to automatically start it at log in. I put a shortcut
to
pixory.jar in the startup and that does not work.

I get that hang for what ever reason.

I would like to do that if you can help. Perhaps putting this in the
documentation would help everyone?
Information about how to do an href tag on your personal web site would
also
help. I put my cable mode ip first and that seemed to work but then I
had to
change it to the 192.168.1.101 address to get to it from offsite.
I did not think that was possible , but it works.

The program works very nicely but it is not at all apparent how to
install
it and how to use it to make it easily available to everyone without
sending
them a link in email.
