Chris, There is a bug (or really just a shortcut on my part) in here, but I seem to get a different result from yours. Here's what I did. I create an individual named 'photographers'. I then created a group named 'photographers'. When I click the button to add contacts to the photographers group, I see only one entry named photographers. If I select that entry, it adds it to the group. However, it's the photographers group, not the individual, that got added to the photographers group. In other words, the photographers group was added to itself, which should not be possible. That's the bug. I did not end up with multiple entries of the same name in the groups list. You'll have to give me a very precise recipe if I'm going to try to recreate that result. The shortcut I took is in the group membership selection panel (the little popout window). There you only see the group name, so that if you have an individual and a group by the same name, there is no way to distinguish between them and confusion ensues. There are a couple of other places in Pixory where it would not be possible to distinguish between an identically named group and individual-- the email invitation receiver list for example. This was actually intentional on my part. I didn't think it was worth the effort to add additional interface to indicate what type of contact you are targeting in certain places. It's easier to simply ensure that all Contacts are uniquely named-- so that there won't be any confusion. If you name the group 'Photographers Group', there won't be ambiguity and you shouldn't see any confusion on the part of Pixory. regards, joe --- In [email protected], "Chris O'Brien" <brandalob@y...> wrote: > Dear Joe > > I am setting up various groups and allocating members to those groups. > > I have a dummy account called Photographers and a group called Photographers > When I click the add button there now appear to be two accounts called > Photographers.
