Thanx for you answer and your explanation regarding pixory persistency. Maybe 
I found a little bug now in the linking of data between the .alb and database 
files:
I initialized the pixory database and I think there is now something stored in 
the album regarding sharing as well: I added a new directory with images, and 
setting up sharing information was no problem. For the former existing 
albums, however, when I click on sharing, the "old" sharing type is still 
correctly selected, but when I click on the little guy to select sharing 
groups and individuals there is an exception (pixory looses my login session 
at that point).

"/my/images/root" is exactly that:
