Please don't apologize-- the more feedback I get the better. I would
much rather have users report any strange or unexpected behaviours
than have them confused about the application. And hopefully the bugs
will get squashed in a reasonable timeframe ;)

You are doing the right thing. You have run into a bug. I was able to
reproduce it on my machine and I'll have it fixed for the next
release. Please test it out when you next upgrade.
