I tried the URL you supplied, and the problem is that the links off
the Viewer Home page are all using port 8081. It looks like your app
server has Pixory running on 8080. But Pixory thinks it's running on
8081 based on the default configuration value.

No, you can change the port to whatever you want:
Configuration->Advanced->Application Port

Yep, if you are running Pixory within an app server, the app server
settings will control what port Pixory runs on. In that case, you
should change the application port in the Pixory configuration to
match whatever your app server is using.

Yes, Pixory will pregenerate thumbnails for _all_ images, provided
that you have Configuration->Advanced->Backgroung Thumbnailing
checked. Note that this is a background activity, meaning you aren't
sure exactly when it has finished. But as soon as Pixory detects 5
minutes of inactivity from the web interface, it will devote itself to
the tast of background thumbnailing. The "pregenerate" button is there
simply for people who don't want to wait and want to know when the
activity is completed.

That's an often requested feature that is high on my to-do list.

Read through discussions, over the last year, in this mailing list.
Many of them cover promised features for future releases. If you don't
like reading the archives on Yahoo (which I don't, because of all the
ads), this mailing list is also archived on Gmane, which has a much
nicer interface. Just do a search on "pixory" in Gmane, and you'll
find it.
