FTP behavior

Joe,

When I use the Pixory GUI to upload a file, the software uses the 
path name of my source file (on a W2KPro system) as part of the name 
of the file. This results in Linux filenames like 
C:\imagedir\clientdir\filenam.jpg . As you must know Linux hates this 
sort of name. On top of that, when a client downloads the file as a 
zip WinZip does not know how to deal with the name/path stuff so it 
can not put the file out for my customers.

My current work around is to use another FTP tool to post files, or 
to go onto the Linux system via the command line interface from a 
secure login and change the file names. As you will understand, even 
changing the filenames from the command line is a challenge since 
most shell commands can't deal well with file names with : or / in 
them. I had to do a bit of research to figure out how to except the 
special characters in each call (I fianlly just used cp with a ' ' 
wrapper then deleted the odd filename file).

Can this behavior of the FTP tool get fixed or can you tell me how to 
get around it?

PS - My clients still need a way to download one file at a time. The 
current interface only shows them the download album arrow. They want 
to pic only the images they need. I know this is a new feature, but 
hey, it would be neat, and I don't want to add privledges for them to 
allow them to use the same interface I get with full FTP tools.
