Nick,

Is the path that your original stack trace complained about:

/usr/share/tomcat5/.pixory/data/pixory.properties

writeable by the user that Tomcat runs under? Was the .pixory
directory created?

Are you running a *stock* Tomcat5 installation-- that is a binary
downloaded from Apache run without any customizations or configurations?
