Problem with Beta 3.13

Hi -

Just recently downloaded 3.13 and am a first-tiem pixory user.  I'm 
excited to try the application - from the description it's exactly 
what I'm looking for.

I've unfortunately run into a problem.  After extracting the zip to 
the C:\pixory location with 2 photos in the c:\Photos directory, 
I've launched the pixory.jar file and configured the adminstrative 
panel - basic and advanced - added a single contact, placed them in 
a group, however every time I try to Photos link, I find myself 
logged-out and given the following message:

"Pixory is unable to service your last request. Click here to start 
over."

When I attempt to provide it with the Composer username and password 
that I entered (and saved), I find myself with the same message.

Secondly, I've been unable to reset the password using your 
directions so I've had to resort to simply deleting the 
entire .pixory directory.  I then can begin the initialization 
process again.

Would appreciate any help.  Am I doing something wrong?

If you'd like a log trace/file etc, please let me know name and 
where it's likely to be.

A few other items:
XP SP2
Java ver 1.4.2_05
