Hi, probably joe has a better answer, but until then here is what I would do: - Probably the db-structure has changed since version 3.11 (I do not know because I started with a later version... ;-). - One possiblity to check is: A) Copy your old database to a separate folder and install a clean new version 0.5.1. B) download HSQLDB at http://hsqldb.sourceforge.net/ C) start runutil.sh with "DatabaseManagerSwing" (without ") as first commandline parameter. D) Choice: "HSQL Database Engine Standalone" and add the path to your old database at the URL input. E) When you press enter, that database should be opened and the structure should be listed. When you start another instance of the database manager with the path to your new installed database, it must be possible to verify if the db-structure has changed since version 3.11... If there are changes, you can try to save manual work with the transfer tool of HSQLDB(db-manager mentioned above, menu Tools, Transfer). If you will succeed, great! Otherwise you probably have to input your config-data manually... ;-( Or wait a little bit until someone else has a better hint... Wish you the best... Since my server runs a Debian Woody installtaion, I also had to upgrade to tomcat4. After the common update hassles Tomcat is running, and also Pixory is in principal doing a fine job. But only when I start a fresh installation. When I copy the .pixory folder (tomcat4 incorporates a new user by default) to reuse contact and sharing information, Tomcat hangs after a restart at the first invocation call, consuming all CPU till it is stopped again. Unfortunately there is no log entry at all. :-( I was upgrading from Pixory 3.11 Access flags to the pictures' folders are ok. If anybody experiences similar behaviour I'd be glad to get a hint what's wrong with my config. bye, ~klemens Yahoo! Groups Links ------------------------ Yahoo!
