XML .alb files?

Folks,

I'm toying with the idea of not using XML to represent the .alb files.
Instead, there would probably be some kind of simpler text file
representation. Using XML was sort of a gimmick in the first place--
it sounded snazzy, but the practical, specific, benefits for Pixory
were always very hard to point out. Of course, there would be some
kind of conversion tool for your existing investment.

This is not an immediate plan, but more like some long-term noodling.

Does anyone have any objections to this idea?
