Ron, Whenever you get this message: "Pixory is unable to service your last request" An error message (stack trace) is being generated in the log. The trick is that if you are running your own app server, you have to configure it so that the Pixory log output ends up someplace you can find it (not necessarily Catalina.out). The easiest way to achieve this: In the "home" directory for the user that Pixory runs under, create a "log" directory. Copy log.configuration.xml to that "log" directory. Then restart the app server. Now Pixory should send it's log output to a file in that same "log" directory. > Is this something background > thumbnailing solves? What does rebuilding indexes do? If you are getting: "Pixory is unable to service your last request" it indicates you have discovered a bug. Neither background thumbnailing nor "rebuilding indexes" will help. You should post the error stack trace to this group or to the developers mailing list. regards, joe --- In [email protected], "rpu43" <rpu43@y...> wrote: > > As a follow up: > .album does not contain the new pics.
