Dear Joe,
When I first installed Pixory on my Win XP SP2, everything worked
fine (creating users, groups, defining sharing rules, etc.). I have
two external Firewire hardrives (G: and H:) and I initially setup
Pixory to work with G:/. Once it worked, I copied the photos over
to my H:/ drive and started organizing the folders with Windows
Explorer. When I use IE6.0.2900/Pixory to sort through the photos I
get the following error: Pixory is unable to service your last
request. Click here to start over."
Following one of the threads in this group, I used REGEDIT to erase
all signs of PIXORY, and I also searched and erased all Pixory
files/folders in C:\. Rebooted the computer and ran Pixory again
after copying the files into a folder from the original zipped
folder. I forgot to erase the .albums folders within my H:/ drive.
Well, I managed to finally start over (that is, see the initial
configuration page on IE browser), but when I started browsing the
folders again, I got the same error message above.
I am using Java 2 RE v.1.4.2_06.
Summary: I can't seem to be able to browse through albums via Pixory
anymore. I tried re-indexing the albums with Pixory, but that
didn't help. Any suggestions?
Dwight
