I am running it on a new computer.  I did install 1.4.2 when setting it up,
but it already had the latest runtime version loaded.  I have now unloaded
that and all is now working well.  Thanks.

I still have one niggle which has been around for quite a number of releases
  When I am changing an album from private to public view in Composer mode I
have to stop Java process and restart in order to view these albums in
public view, though I believe, but have not confirmed, that someone else
viewing my pixory at that stage would see the new albums.

Moira,

Which version of Java are you running Pixory with? The logs hint that
you are running 1.5.
