Just tweak polipo to accept connexions from your whole LAN (set
proxyAddress to "::0" or "0.0.0.0" and allowedClients to "127.0.0.1,
192.168.0.0/24" for instance), and set your proxy to
http://192.168.0.10:8123 on your iphone (assuming your LAN is
192.168.0.0/24 and your desktop has IP 192.168.0.10 of course).
