I'm not sure I could debug why, but I just came across this URL < http://a.fsdn.com/sd/idlecore-tidied.css?T_2_5_0_284 >, and polipo seems to truncate the response down to 2,555 bytes, whereas it should be 149,355 bytes. Again I don't know how to determine if this is a bug with polipo or just some non-standard behavior that polipo refuses to tolerate, but since I was able to track down a specific case where I'm getting undesirable results consistently, I thought I'd pass it along.
