Polipo crashes frequently for me when refreshing
http://forums.anandtech.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15
The error only seems to happen after I wait a long period of time (e.g.
15 minutes or something) and then refresh the page.

The output messages I get are:
Restarting pipeline to forums.anandtech.com:80.
Restarting pipeline to forums.anandtech.com:80.
Couldn't send request to server: Immediate shutdown requested
Restarting pipeline to forums.anandtech.com:80.
Couldn't send request to server: Connection reset by client
Restarting pipeline to forums.anandtech.com:80.

"Couldn't send request to server: Immediate shutdown requested" seems
key. My internet connection may be a bit flaky, by the way, which is
why I run Polipo.

This particular run was of the current git master, compiled on Ubuntu
9.04 64-bit, with -O3 instead of -Os, and run in gdb. Its output was:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
httpServerDirectHandlerCommon (kind=1, status=-65540,
     event=<value optimized out>, srequest=0x1dee830) at server.c:2602
2602        ObjectPtr object = request->object;

And bt full returned:

Here's an example request sent from Firefox 3.6. Not the original, but
a similar one I captured with nc, with the password hash removed just in
case:
