How can I install Polipo with Tor in a flash drive?

Hello. I'm running Ubuntu 10.04.3. A few days ago, I installed the Tor Browser Bundle (which supposedly had Polipo included) in a flash drive, but Polipo isn't there. All install instructions I can find are for installing Polipo in the computer. I don't want that. I want to install it and run it from the flash drive, together with the Tor bundle, so I can run it from different computers as needed, but, after researching for days, I could find no information on how to do that. Is there a way?
