'301 Moved Permanently' cached as '200 OK'?

Is polipo doing it right, returning the original
  301 Moved Permanently
for the first request and 
  200 OK
for subsequent ones (when accessing http://couchapp.org)?

Below is a diff of visit1.log and visit2.log.
