Juliusz, do you recall when it was working? I'm reading local.c right now, and thinking about how to troubleshoot it. I'll fire up webconsole and see what kind of response we're getting. I'm having some weird issue with the directory browser on the FreeBSD ports version at the moment, diskCacheRoot is set, but it acted like it wasn't, even though it is plainly in config as /var/cache/polipo/ Come to think of it, I'll check that trailing backslash. It was coming up blank in the web form. .. now getting a permissions error through the interface, so that's why I was reading the source. I'll be installing master here in a few minutes to see if the problem goes away. I made a link from /usr/local/etc/polipo to /etc/polipo to save a few keystrokes. Maybe I'm picking up config from some defaults directory or something. Do you have any objection to Whitesmith style? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indent_style#Whitesmiths_style It is a lot easier for me to read. If you don't like it, I'll find something to reformat after I'm done. Any tips on your devel environment? Interesting scripts, envars or whatever? I've got the FreeBSD box and Mint 14 on my laptop. Again, my c programming level is like hello-world + 2, but I've been programming with scripting languages for quite a while, so shouldn't be completely clueless. I may need you to explain these AtomPtr thingys and internal constructs which are not something I can look up elsewhere.
