quite certainly, it got a SIGSEV

the URL is http://taginfo.mapkibera.org/favicon.ico, not easily reproducible.
It appears that it happened during or after the system was trying to logrotate, 
asking
 /bin/systemctl reload  polipo.service
- which does accidentally set polipo offline as I haven't implemented the correct
online/offline detection yet.
