silent crashing

I can only say that when I use newark.com I get silent crashes, no other
details can I find. Polipo is no longer running. I will try to gather more info
but it seems specific to that site.  Can someone else try it too? I think I
was trying to look up more details on a certain part when it crashed.
I may just create a monitor to restart polipo since all browsers that are
configured to this cache will see failures. Too bad browsers can't be
configured to fail-open instead of fail-closed.
