forbiddenFile seems not to work

In the polipo config file i set the following line:

forbiddenFile = "/home/tc/.polipo/forbidden"

Now, i'd aspect polipo would recognize that file, but apparently it
does not, as seems to me from 'polipo -v':

forbiddenFile atom (none) File specifying forbidden URLs.

Any ideas in regard?

PS. I built the forbidden file following the instructions of:
