Hey all
This is a left field question, but I'm just wondering what people do when they wish to direct page requests by geography (send french requests to french servers and US requests to us server and UK request to uk servers etc).

I see that there is a Geo plug-in to bind (http://www.caraytech.com/geodns/) however it clearly states that it's not really production ready.

I wondered if pound could be configured to load balance based on the geography of the request and the server - although I can't see anything that would suggest that it can.

What are people currently doing, or is it the case that latencies are low enough that it's not an issue if European requests cross the pond (or vice versa)?

Cheers
Mark.
