Thanks for the beta release!

I've given it a try in our testing environment and spotted no
regressions compared to 2.6 we're using nowadays. We're using some
patches though; I've submitted them all to the list for review now and
I'd be very thankful if you could have a look.

Also, I'm wondering if you could add the source for the configure
script (configure.ac or configure.in) to the source kit? It seems that
it's missing.
