[Pound Mailing List] How to update to a newer version of Pound (CentOS 6)

Hi,

we are trying to add a Pound load balancer to our system and as part of the
initial configuration I need to update to the latest version of Pound.
(Currently running Pound 2.6 on CentOS 6)

The problem is that I have very little CentOS experience, no Yum
experience, and the online information about how to update Pound is hard to
find or assumes I am doing a new install. Is there any documentation on
updating to the latest version of Pound, or even what has changed on
between version 2.6 and 2.7d?

Any help would be appreciated, even just pointing me to the correct blog or
a web page will do.
