No, I remain logged in the whole time, so it doesn't seem to be an authentication issue, rather it seems to be an authorisation issue. For what it's worth I've also tried it in both Chrome and Safari and both behave in the same manner, so I'm relatively sure the issue is on the server side. I'd never previously logged into Sourceforge using Safari so that rules out a 'bad cookie' type issue.
