Thanks Steven! So Richard as I keep telling you Privoxy is _not_ actually installed on your iPad. I can be 100% certain of this since there is _no_ version of Privoxy for iPad. Be honest with yourself - did you ever install Privoxy on your iPad? All that is possible is that the iPad is configured to use a proxy computer (that is, access the web via a computer) on which Privoxy _is_ installed. Use Steven's guide to navigate to the Proxies page in the iPad settings to establish whether it is configured to use a proxy for HTTP and/or HTTPS. If it is, disable these settings. It would also be useful if, whilst the proxies are _enabled_, you browse to a site that you know generates a Privoxy message and then obtain a screenshot of that message. To take a screenshot, click the top button and the home button at the same time. The screen will flash and a camera shutter sound will occur. The screenshot will go into your Photo app Camera Roll on the iPad. Sync with your Mac and you'll then be able to send this screenshot as an email on this discussion thread.
