That's more or less correct.

While pipelining and persistent connections on the client side
can be tested to some degree by putting Polipo between
privoxy-regression-test.pl and Privoxy, the server side or even
the "various timing issues on the internet" are indeed not tested.

Unfortunately timing issues are hard to test for and also not addressed
by the curl test suite very well, but at least there are a bunch of
HTTP-related tests including persistence that can also be used for proxies.

There intentionally is very little overlap with the Privoxy-specific
tests we already have as one of my goals for privoxy-regression-test.pl
was and still is not to duplicate stuff we can get elsewhere and for free.
