When I click on the "Add to Chrome" button it says "Installing..." forever.  It works if I turn off the proxy settings.

I'm not sure which debug directives you enabled so far, so I can't comment
on whether or not there are more.

If you enabled all the directives suggested at the URL I posted below and
post a log excerpt that starts with the browser being opened and ends with
the browser being closed (in case there are lingering connections), I think
there's a fair chance that the problem becomes visible.

Note that there's a known bug in 3.0.17 (already fixed in CVS) where a
Privoxy filter can break SDCH-encoded content. If your Chrome is configured
to use SDCH, you may want to check if temporarily disabling it works around
the problem. Disabling all filters for the page, or building Privoxy from
CVS should work, too.

I think we don't have enough information yet to blame Chrome, but you could
test your broken-proxy-handling-in-chrome theory by trying to reproduce the
problem with another proxy like Polipo.

You're absolutely right.  That data came in at the time of my mouse click
but it wasn't actually from the site.  I repeated the process and the log
file showed nothing.  Are there more debugging options available?  

If not then I believe that it might be some bug with Chrome pertaining to
proxy server support or a bug with the Chrome Store in downloading via 
proxy server.  Unfortunately Google has lousy bug fixing/support so I don't
even know where to start.  Sigh.

The log file is attached.  It only has the information after clicking the
"Install" button so you shouldn't have to sift through it too much.  

My version of Chrome is the latest release build: 13.0.782.215 m
