Proposal to use donations for a "Privoxy month"

According to the latest SPI treasurer's report, 1,010.87 USD earmarked for Privoxy have been donated to SPI as of 2014-02-28. That's not a lot and my theory is that the main reason for this is that it isn't obvious to potential donors that the donations somehow result in Privoxy improvements. In fact, until recently the donations weren't used at all, mainly because there wasn't enough money available to justify the not-yet-known bureaucratic overhead. As an experiment, I'd like to concentrate on working on Privoxy for about four weeks, spending a (relatively) significant amount of donations to pay some of my bills: 500 €, provided I come up with enough receipts SPI can accept. For various reasons this wouldn't be a salary and formally there would be no deliverables and obviously no (pathetic) hourly rate. The idea is to work on a couple of TODO list items and to put a "so far, donations were used for ..." section on the website. Hopefully this will have a noticeable affect on the amount of donations we get. Depending on the results, the experiment could be repeated after a while, maybe even with a more competitive "wage". If it doesn't work out, more than 50% percent of the current donations and probably a couple of unspecified TODO list items would be gone. If you have any objections or comments in general about this, please let me know by 2014-05-18. As mentioned before, I already cleared my schedule anyway, so if there are objections to the "spend donations" part, this would not affect the hosting migration (that is, if we decide to actually migrate).
