Using a proxy before privoxy

Hi

I've just set up 3proxy as a socks5 proxy which connects to privoxy
as parent.  It's all working except the config pages.  Something
like:

(privoxy and 3proxy running on 192.168.0.5)

3proxy.cfg:

parent 1000 http 192.168.0.5 8118
socks -4 -p20000

However since doing this the config URL breaks and it says privoxy
isn't being used.

I've tried putting privoxy.org and config.privoxy.org in /etc/hosts
pointing at the machine but it didn't work.

How can I get this to work?
