Hello. I am having big trouble trying to run Privoxy. I'm using MX Linux (based on Debian) and the version of Privoxy I'm using is 3.0.28+deb10u1, which is the most up to date on MX's Package Installer, as of this posting. I tried it on Firefox-ESR version 78.14.0esr (64-bit) and Palemoon version 29.4.1 (64-bit). I set the HTTP and HTTPS proxies to 127.0.0.1 and ports to 8118 as instructed but the proxy keeps refusing my connections, on both browsers, so I have to turn it off to access the internet. I uninstalled my firewall (gufw) and Tor but I'm still having the same problem. I even checked for Listening ports but I haven't found either the browser or Privoxy running. Last of all, I tried to start up Privoxy manually but I got this error. The following output was: [FAIL] Starting filtering proxy server: privoxy failed! I have used Privoxy in MX Linux before and it worked fine but now I'm having problems all of a sudden. Please reply and help as soon as possible. Thank you.
