Re: Having trouble with Privoxy (Ian Silvester)

Hello Ian.

I am using Privoxy version 3.0.28+deb10u1.

My operating system is MX Linux 19.4.1 "ahs" (Advanced Hardware
Support), though I'm running it on a VirtualBox VM from Windows 10
Pro 64-Bit 1904.

I tried using Privoxy on Firefox-ESR version 78.14.0esr (64-bit) and
Palemoon version 29.4.1 (64-bit).

The proxy is just stopping me from accessing any website full stop.
Again, I was unable to manually start up Privoxy.

Whenever I try to, I get the following output on my terminal:
[FAIL] Starting filtering proxy server: privoxy failed!

I installed Privoxy from MX Linux's stable repository.

I uninstalled Tor and my firewall gufw to see if it fixes my problem.
It didn't.

I found the log file and have attached it to this message.
