I don't think many people running > pyblosxom are going to grumbly about upgrading to python 2.4. Well, here's a grumble, the guys who host my site aren't even looking at moving up from 2.2 yet. In fact for simplicity I've settled on using 2.2 everywhere currently, for my hosted blog and wiki, my personal machines, my pda and my phone. Given that Nokia haven't released the code for their port yet, I'm also stuck on 2.2 on the phone unless I want to do a lot of porting work.
