Same here.  I think Debian stable uses 2.2 right?

A little off topic, but yes, we're sticking with 2.2.2 for now on
Series 60 / Symbian.  Given the choice of more native API's or
updating the language, I picked more API's.  Once the source is
available, I suppose you could try applying patches to 2.4.

But now that you mention it, I haven't even considered trying to run
PyBlosxom on my phone  ;-)
