Folksonomy plugin problems

Hi everyone,


I had a look at the folksonmy plugin

since I liked the idea of tags and assigning one post to more than  
one category.
While playing around with it I noticed that it has problems  
(IndexError) with "relatedstories" and "relatedtags".
I tried reaching the author but he has not answered my Mail yet  
that's why I am posting to the ML, maybe someone here can help me  
solve this problem.
I had a look at the code but to be honest I don't fully grok it,  
especially the creation of the "folksonomy" list.
