Dear pyblosxom developers,

I am a member of the Gentoo development team. I am writing to
introduce myself and to let you know that I intend to add pyblosxom to
our collection of maintained packages. This would make pyblosxom
available to all Gentoo users through our packages tree and users
could install pyblosxom by simply typing `emerge pyblosxom'. 

pyblosxom on Gentoo will be maintained by the "web-apps" team. We
realize that close contact with upstream developers is essential to
providing our users with the most up-to-date and secure web
applications, and we hope to create a good working relationship
between our team and yours.

(1) To ensure that we provide the most recent version of pyblosxom
through the Portage tree, we would like to be notified of your new
releases. Ideally, we would like to subscribe to a pre-release
announcement mailing list so that we can prepare for a new version in
advance. If your project does not have such a list, is there a general
announcement list that we can subscribe to?

(2) To ensure that we can react promptly to security issues, we would
like to identify one upstream contact for security-related matters, as
well as one general contact to act as a fallback for when the security
contact is unavailable. Could you send me the names and contact info
of _two_ people who can act as a security and a general contact for
pyblosxom? In addition, we would like to be subscribed to any
security-related mailing lists your project may have.

We appreciate your help, and we look forward to working with you
folks. Please don't hesitate to email me or catch me in #gentoo-web on
freenode if you have questions about pyblosxom on Gentoo.
