Re: pyblosxom on Gentoo

Hi Gunnar!

After I release PyBlosxom 1.3 we won't be in active development unless 
someone steps up with a clear plan and execution strategy and all that. 
I plan on continuing to do bug fixes and security fixes, but mostly in my 
leisure once a month or so.  I will try to deal with security issues 
promptly.

I'm excited that we're being added as an official Gentoo package.  w00t!

I can be a security/general contact ([email protected]).  I'm 
not sure who else can/should/wants-to-be.

I just created a new pyblosxom-announce mailing list which will cover 
release announcements for PyBlosxom and the contributed plugins. 
SouceForge says it'll take 6-24 hours to create the list, so I guess wait 
until tomorrow to try to subscribe.

I think that covers everything.  I plan on releasing PyBlosxom 1.3 in the 
next day or so.  I have a "release candidate" (recenlty updated RC2) on my 
website at:

I will be releasing this candidate in the next day or so unless more 
issues are discovered between then and now.  Any bugs, suggestions and 
such (especially if they help packaging it for Gentoo) are more than 
welcome.
