I'm assuming you're talking about the contributed plugins.  The 
contributed plugins fall into two categories:

1. ones that I and other people who are vocal in the PyBlosxom community
    use
2. all the other ones

Category 1 plugins are probably in "decent shape" from release to release. 
At a minimum, they get some testing.  I have no idea what state Category 2 
plugins are in.  weblogsping is definitely a Category 2 plugin.

Right now, there's no testing framework for testing plugins and releasing 
them short of "anecdotal testing".  Previously I've been a huge fan of not 
releasing them at all and pushing the maintenance work back to the 
original authors because I can't guarantee whether they even work without 
a load of additional effort.  But...  I change my mind on that every 
couple of days or so.

Anyhow, all of the contributed plugins could use attention.  If there's 
some way of building a testing framework for them or adding unit tests to 
them--that'd be _hugely_ awesome.

Hrm.  I think those plugins might need updated contact information as 
well, then.
